Maintenance and support

Launch day is the start, not the finish.

Security patches, content changes, bugs, training your staff, and the next round of features. One team who already knows your site or app, so you are not explaining it from scratch every time something comes up. Based in Bradenton, serving the Sarasota–Bradenton area and clients nationwide.

What we look after

Support is not only fixing what breaks. Most of it is the steady work that keeps a site or app useful as your business changes.

  • Security patches

Frameworks, libraries, and server software kept current, so a known flaw in something you depend on does not sit open for months waiting to be found.

  • Content updates

New pages, staff changes, pricing, photos, seasonal swaps. Send it over in whatever form you have it and we will get it live.

  • Bug support

Something stops working, a form stops sending, a page breaks on one browser. You tell us what you saw, we find the cause and fix it properly.

  • New features

The next thing your business needs, built by the team that already knows your app. Small additions go out as they are ready, larger ones we scope first.

  • Staff training

Walkthroughs for new hires, refreshers for your team, and short written or recorded guides for the parts people always forget. Live sessions by video, recorded if you want them.

  • Third-party changes

Payment providers, CRMs, and shipping services change their systems without asking. We keep your connections working when they do.

A plan built around you, then put on auto-pilot

  1. 1

We look at what you have

We go through the site or app, the hosting, and the accounts, and work out what genuinely needs attention and how often. Even when we built it, this is where the plan starts.

  2. 2

We build your plan around it

Not a tier off a menu. A plan assembled from what your business actually needs, whether that is quarterly patching and the occasional content change, or steady feature work and someone on call.

  3. 3

    We put it on auto-pilot

The recurring parts happen on schedule without you asking: patches, updates, checks, and the small things that only become expensive when they are ignored. You stop keeping a list.

  4. 4

We are there at the level you need

For everything you cannot plan for, you have a team that already knows your app. We agree up front how quickly we respond to what, and the plan changes as your business does.

Questions we get asked

No. We take on sites and apps built by other people all the time. We start by reviewing what is there and telling you plainly what we find, then get to work.

Security patches, content updates, bug fixes, small feature work, staff training, and keeping third-party connections working. We agree what you need before we start, and it can change as your business does.

Fast enough to surprise you. After that it depends on how urgent it is. Something down or costing you money gets picked up right away, day or night. A content change or a small tweak goes into the normal flow of work, and you always know which one yours is.

Yes. We can look after the site and the server it runs on together, which is usually simpler when something goes wrong, or work alongside a host you already have.

Happily. For the things you should not have to call anyone about, like content and everyday admin, we train your team and leave short guides behind. We would rather you be self-sufficient on the simple parts.

Usually, yes. Aging custom PHP, older Laravel, jQuery, and Vue 2 are a regular part of our work. We keep them secure and running, and only talk about modernizing when you are ready.

No. Arrangements run month to month, and you can change or stop them. We would rather keep the work because it is worth keeping.

That is fine and fairly common. Some clients send something over every week, others twice a year. We scope and price it around how much you actually need.

Yes. That is one of the most common ways clients come to us. We recover the code, hosting, and accounts, work out how it was built, and take it from there.

Stop worrying about it.
